Meike Wagner: i received my phd at mainz university on a subject in mediality and the staging of object bodies (e.g. the human body between perceiving subject and staged object in theatre) in 2002. from 2003-2006 i was coordinator of the phd program performance and media studies. since then i am a lecturer and researcher at the theatre department of munich university. i am teaching 19th century theatre, theatre and performance and theatre theory and my current areas of research are theatre and media, intermediality, internet communities and webbased animation film, theatre historiography, theatre and revolution. i am editor of „double. magazin für puppen-, figuren- und objektheater".
