hanna jansen (1984), i graduated in 2007 as an actrice and theatremaker at the school of the arts in utrecht. i'm very much inspired by image, poetry and film. in my plays i also use the effect that film has, it can give you the feeling that you experience the story from close by, but the camera are your eyes and decides what you see and what not. sides specific theatre is a form of theatre which has my interest. taking people from their natural habitat and let them experience something in a slighty different way then they're used to, is what makes theatre for an outdoor location so attractive. an important question at the beginning of my creative proces is: how do i want my audience to experience this play? which perspective am i giving them?in earlier projects i already explored the idea of which perspective i want my audience to have while watching my play. in smaller productions i gave the audience an individual perspective while they experienced the play. because i think it is important that the way of looking suits the story of the presentation and vice versa, and through that a direct appeal is made on the consciousness of my audience.
